Why I am an AFG Member
Here are just some of the reasons why our members joined and remain long-time members of AFG.
- The number one reason I am a member of AFG is that I continue to benefit from the ROI. The professional network that I have created and the knowledge gained through the annual meetings and other continuing education offerings have been of tremendous value to me and the organizations I serve.
~ Barkley Payne, Director, American College of Healthcare Executives - I am a member of the AFG because it is the right place to get information, ideas, and inspiration from people who are dealing with issues very similar to mine. Larger, more generalized organizations weren?t quite giving me what I needed; I really wanted to network with people who were familiar with the challenges specific to association foundations.
~ Dana Camacho, Sr. Manager of Development, American Academy of Periodontology Foundation - I don’t feel like just another member lost in the crowd. As a smaller, targeted organization, I find networking and making lasting connections with other AFG members much easier than it is in larger organizations.
~ Lee Claassen, CAE, Director, Spinal Research Foundation
