Kathryn Dattomo, MNA, CAE, CFRE formerly served as the Chief Development officer at the Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation (NREF), a 501c3 organization affiliated with the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). In this role, Kathryn develops and directs strategies to develop donors and contributions to support NREF and AANS and is responsible for all fundraising operations including corporate development, annual campaigns, major gifts and stewardship initiatives.
Kathryn is a strategic, results-driven fundraising professional and association executive with expertise in teaming with board members, donors, volunteers and staff to accomplish the mission of the organization. She completed her undergraduate degree at DePauw University, holds a Master of Nonprofit Administration degree from North Park University and is both a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and Certified Association Executive (CAE).
In addition to serving on the Association Foundation Group (AFG) Board of Directors, Kathryn is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Association Forum of Chicagoland, and is a frequent speaker on nonprofit management and fundraising topics.
